Scope & Aims
Fungal Systematics and Evolution is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, full colour, fast-track journal which publishes reviews, research articles, methodology papers, small taxonomic monographs, and the description of fungi. The journal appears in two volumes per year (June and December).
Fungal Systematics and Evolution strongly supports good practice policies, and requires fungarium voucher specimens to be deposited in a fungarium with an online database such as the National Herbarium of the Netherlands (L), cultures and DNA in long-term genetic resource collections such as the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute, sequences in GenBank, alignments in TreeBASE or other online public repositories such as Zenodo or Figshare, and taxonomic novelties in MycoBank.
